Description
Original Antique Native American Indian Chiefs Giant Gunpowder Horn. Measures approximately 25 inches long x 4 wide with 13 inch diameter and at the bottom tip the diameter is 3 3/4 inches. A Chief had this horn filled with gunpowder and would let his warriors fill up their horns before battles or hunting. Rare. Estimate age to be 1880s to 1890s. Original paint, cap tip where they poured the gunpowder, large wide original matching butt end flat inset cover. This would have held a lot of powder. See all photos as no returns. Not a repro.
